Welcome to Fast Lane to Faith: A Jet Jockey’s Search for Significance!

Fast Lane COVER FINAL! (1) copy

“THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE CAPTAIN SPEAKING!”

IF YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW WHAT GOES ON BEHIND THE COCKPIT DOOR AND IN THE HEART AND SOUL OF THE PILOT IN COMMAND OF YOUR LIFE, YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!

This goes way beyond, “This is your captain speaking.”

Guys, if you think this book is just for you, think again. Share it with your women and they’ll love you for it.

Women have told me how much they learned about us from reading my book.

And if you guys are into cars, you’ll love the race scenes in the book.

Thoreau said, “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.”

Too many aviators think we can transcend reality the way we transcend gravity. When we do, we often find ourselves in trouble; that often leads to us living “lives of quiet desperation.”

I was desperate after four divorces, the loss of passion for my 26-year flying career and the total loss of an identity I had spent my whole life piecing together.

Fast Lane to Faith is a memoir that will inspire and motivate you.

The book will ‘ground’ you in a good way, as you follow me through my life as a teen-age hot rodder. I built and raced “the fastest car in San Francisco” in the glory days of the Northern California hot rod scene.

Then I took my need for speed into flying jets for TWA and Netjets while I continued trying to outrun the fear and insecurity that haunted me most of my life.

I took time off from flying to travel around the world on a spiritual journey, “looking for God knows what,” sitting at the feet of Indian gurus, and living with and exploring the secrets of the Philippine faith healers in a desperate search for my own identity as a man.

I finally returned back home, having learned more about how to be in a successful, loving relationship with a woman, what self respect really is, and how to know what being “successful” really means.

Come travel with me and you’ll be able to apply these lessons directly to your life, regardless of whether you fly airplanes or not.

This is my journey but it’s one that can change your life.
